DESCRIPTION:

• Event Purpose: March for Meals St. Patrick’s 5K Run/Walk is a fun run event to create awareness of senior hunger and to raise money for the Meals on Wheels program in Osceola County through the Osceola Council on Aging.
• Fun Run: It is a fun run with a clock, so you can catch your time at the finish line!
• Team Participation: We are asking you to put together a team and participate in our “Team Challenge” category and win the “MOST SPIRITED TEAM” and/or “LARGEST TEAM” in 2026!
• Support Senior Hunger: Put your team together today and show your spirit, and help us fight senior hunger by supporting the Meals on Wheels in Osceola County program.

EVENT TIMELINE:

• 6:45am: Race-day Registration and Packet Pickup opens
• 8:00am: 5K Fun Run/Walk begins
• 9:00am: Awards
• 9:15am: FREE Kids’ Dashes begin

5K FUN RUN/WALK RACE AMENITIES INCLUDE:

• Event T-shirt: Fun St. Patrick's Day color March for Meals 5K Run & Walk t-shirt!
• Finisher Medal: Finisher Medal for all 5k Fun Run participants.
• Refreshments: Water and post-race snacks.
• Awards: Awards for Top 3 M/F Overall & Age Group Winners.

REGISTRATION FEES - 13+ years old:

• Early Registration: $30.00 through March 1st
• Late Registration: $35.00 from March 2 - March 13
• Race Day: $40.00 Day of the race (if not sold out)*

REGISTRATION FEES - 12 & Under:

• Early Registration: $25.00 through March 1st
• Late Registration: $30.00 from March 2 - March 13
• Race Day: $35.00 Day of the race (if not sold out)*

• Payment: RACE DAY REGISTRATION PAYMENT WILL BE ACCEPTED VIA CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS THROUGH RUNSIGNUP ONLY!
• Refund Policy: ALL ENTRY FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE AND RACE REGISTRATIONS ARE NON-TRANSFERABLE.
• Weather Policy: THIS IS A RAIN OR SHINE EVENT. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER.

TEAM CHALLENGE:

“Team Challenge” allows folks to sign-up for a team with five plus participants and compete for team awards in the following categories: MOST TEAM SPIRIT and LARGEST TEAM! Be creative, use your imagination and “Let’s Be Fit for FOOD.” We look forward to bringing together businesses and organizations from all over Central Florida for a day of fun – “Team Challenge” excitement! Special discount offered with five or more entries ($5 off).

RACE T-SHIRTS:

All participants who register for the 5K event will receive a unisex St. Patrick's themed color cotton t-shirt. Sizes are guaranteed through March 2, 2026.

FINISHER MEDALS:

All PAID 5K Fun Run participants will receive a custom March for Meals 5K Fun Run & Walk sponsored by KUA themed finisher medal. Children participating in the FREE Kid’s dashes will receive a finisher ribbon.

RACE TIMING & AWARDS:

This will be a chip timed 5K with timing provided by Southern Timing, LLC. Results will be streamed live during the race to Southern Timing Results.

Awards will be given to the top 3 Overall Male & Female Finishers along with the top 3 Male & Female finishers in each age group: 10 & Under, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+

Plus, we will award the “Team Challenge” category and win the “MOST SPIRITED TEAM” and/or “LARGEST TEAM” in 2026!

FREE KIDS DASHES:

We will host a free kids’ dashes following the 5k event. All children ages 7 & under must be registered on race day at the Registration table. An adult must accompany all children participating and will receive a Finisher Ribbon and special awards for the top girl and boy finishers in each dash distance. Distances will vary by age group, ranging from 50 yards to 200 yards.

WEATHER:

Races will be held rain or shine: however, if severe weather is in the area, the race start may be delayed or cancelled. As a reminder, registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

SAFETY RULES:

To ensure the safety of all runners, roller skates and in-line skates are prohibited on the race course. You need to stay alert throughout the race, stay inside cones, and obey all race signage. Jogging strollers are permitted but must start in the back.

STROLLERS:

Strollers are allowed. Nurturing future generations of runners/walkers is a priority as is demonstrating healthy lifestyles to our children. We ask that registrants with strollers line up after the runners & walkers at the start line. Please listen for directions on where to line up on the day of the race. Only paid registrants of the 5K Fun Run/Walk will receive a finisher medal. If you would like your child to receive a medal, please register for them to participate in the Run/Walk.

Race Day Packet Pickup will take place at Kissimmee Lake Front Park beginning at 6:45 am. However, please do allow additional time to pick up your packet on race day due to parking and potentially long lines.
