🏃♂️ Training Program Overview
Fleet Feet Mobile is hosting a training program for Azalea Trail Run 5k & 10k.
Meeting will be held at Fleet Feet Mobile, and some local sites around Mobile, such as Carpe Diem.
Registration for Azalea Trail Run is not necessary to do this program.
Sign up now for our 5K (8-week), 10K (10-week) group training programs.
👟 Who Can Join?
- For Runners: Run/walkers - walkers
- Info Meeting: Monday, January 6th @ 6pm - ALL GROUPS MEET at Fleet Feet for the info meeting (This is not mandatory)
- Good Form Running Presentation: Be prepared to get moving this evening or watch and take notes!
- Workouts: Each week participants will be given 4 structured workouts to complete.
📅 Program Dates and Locations
- Group Workouts: Thursdays at 6pm and Saturdays at 7am.
- 5K Training: No pre-requisites to participate.
- 10K Training: We recommend that you be able to comfortably complete a 5k distance.
📏 10K Distance Training
- Program Start: Thursday, January 9, 2025, at 6pm
- Race Date: Race day on March 22, 2025
- Program Length: 10 weeks
- Program Format: 4 structured workouts per week (2 of which will be done as a group)
🏅 5K Distance Training
- Program Start: Thursday, January 23, 2025, at 6pm
- Race Date: Race day on March 22, 2025
- Program Length: 8 weeks
- Program Format: 4 structured workouts per week (2 of which will be done as a group)
Program fee does not include race entry.
