🏃♂️ Overview of the Training Program
Fleet Feet Mobile is hosting a training program for Azalea Trail Run 5k & 10k.
Meeting at Fleet Feet Mobile.
Registration for Azalea Trail Run is not necessary to do this program.
📅 Program Details
- Sign Up Now: Register for our 5K (8-week) or 10K (10-week) group training programs.
- For All Levels: This program is designed for runners, run/walkers, and walkers.
- Info Meeting: Tuesday, January 3rd, all groups meet at Fleet Feet for the info meeting. (This is not mandatory).
- Structured Workouts: Each week, participants will receive 4 structured workouts to complete.
📍 In-Person Workouts
- Group Workouts: Two workouts will be done as a group on Thursdays at 6pm and Saturdays at 7am.
- 5k Participation: There are no prerequisites to participate in the 5k training.
- 10k Readiness: For 10k training, it is recommended that participants should comfortably complete a 5k distance.
🥇 10K Training Program
- Program Start: Thursday, January 9, 2025, at 6pm.
- Race Date: Race day on March 22, 2025.
- Program Length: 10 weeks.
- Program Format: 4 structured workouts per week (2 of which will be done as a group).
🏅 5K Training Program
- Program Start: Thursday, January 23, 2025, at 6pm.
- Race Date: Race day on March 22, 2025.
- Program Length: 8 weeks.
- Group Workouts: Same structure as the 10k with workouts on Thursdays and Saturdays.
Note: Program fee does not include race entry.
