Beach Dash 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

ABWR has teamed up with two local charities to help with fire relief efforts. Portion of proceeds will go to -- California Community Foundation and Pasadena Humane Society.

It's time for our Beach Dash 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon fun run/walk!!!

🕒 Event Schedule

• Check-in: 7-7:30AM for everyone
• Start: 7:30AM
• Half Marathon Cut Off: 10:45AM
• Early Start: Email abetterworldrunning@gmail.com for options

📍 Location

Address - * Please check in at the tables closest to 54th Place, at the start of the beach path. NOT near Claremont Ave. Long Beach path in Belmont Shores -- 5400 E. Ocean Blvd. Long Beach, CA 90803 (off of 54th Place and Ocean Blvd.) * do not use Apple Maps app as a GPS, use the Google Maps or Waze app. There is a photo of the map on the website -- www.abetterworldrunning.com.

🚻 Preparation Tips

• Parking: Please plan on carpooling and getting there early to find parking and use the restroom.
• Restroom Supplies: Bring toilet paper just in case as the beach restrooms are not always fully stocked that early in the morning.

🏅 Race Features

All the participants will have their results posted with their names and times. And FREE pictures for everyone posted on our facebook page after the event! Pacers and crew are welcome at any time. There are numerous restrooms and water fountains along the course.

• 5k: out and back route - Map
• 10k: 2 x 5k loops
• 15k: 3 x 5k loops
• Half Marathon: 3 x 4.36 mi loop - Map

🐶 Participant Guidelines

Participants are not allowed to run with dogs. Running/walking with a stroller is allowed. 3:15 time limit for the half marathon. If more time is needed, please email us at abetterworldrunning@gmail.com for early start.

🥇 Awards and Memorabilia

ALL finishers get a medal. Everyone will get a medal as well as a goodie bag. Results are posted after every race on www.abetterworldrunning.com.
