Join the Blackwater Heritage Trail crew at our 2nd Annual Blackwater Heritage Trailblazer Fun Run on February 15, 2025! This is a beautiful tree-lined, well-maintained paved trail and the perfect path for a Saturday morning run with family and friends!
This fun run event on the Blackwater Heritage Trail is open to all ages, running or walking abilities, strollers and leashed dogs. Unique awards, prizes, and fun for the whole family!
🎉 Event Highlights
- Family-Friendly: Fun for all ages and abilities.
- New Distance: Family-friendly 2.6 miles this year to honor the 26th year of the beautiful Blackwater Heritage Trail.
- Start Times: The fun run starts at 9am: the 13km race starts at 8:15am.
- Awards: No age group awards for the fun run, but fun and door prizes for all participants.
📝 Registration Details
This year’s pricing is:
- 13km Race: $52 until February 12, 2025.
- 2.6 Mile Fun Run/Walk: $26 until February 12, 2025.
- Late Registration: Available at packet pickup for $60 (13km) and $30 (fun run).
- Race Day: No race day registration for the 13km, but available for the 2.6 mile fun run/walk.
Shirt sizing guaranteed if registered by 1/25/2025. First 250 to register are guaranteed a shirt. Size and/or availability not guaranteed for late registrants.
📅 Packet Pickup and Late Registration
Friday 2/14/2025: Packet pickup and late registration available at Truly Spokin Bicycle Shop, Milton, FL from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
Saturday 2/15/2025: Packet pickup for both distances at the Blackwater Heritage Trail Visitor Center from 7:00 am to 8:00 am.
🏆 13km Race Awards
- Top Overall: Male and Female winners.
- Age Groups: Top 3 Male and Female in age groups (0-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+).
- Para-athletes: Top 3 awarded.
- Walkers: Top 3 male and female walkers.
