📝 Registration Details
- Participants: 550 max participants – reserve your spot today!
- Sizing: Ladies' sizes are fitted and run small: when in doubt, size up.
- Deadline: Online registration closes on March 31st.
- Early Closure: Registration may close early upon sell out.
👶 Kids Dash
- Event: Tots/Kids Dash for ages 2-10 years old.
- Reminder: Participants must wait until the 5K and 10K finish before leaving.
- Activities: Enjoy the playground and refreshments after the races!
- Registration: Kids in the Tots/Kids Dash will not receive a timing chip.
🏞️ Course Information
- 5K Course: Paved, tree-lined path: wheelchair and stroller accessible.
- 10K Course: 6.2-mile wooded trail circling the lake.
- Time Requirement: 10K participants must maintain faster than a 17-minute mile.
- Finish Time: Finish by 9:30 am.
📅 Event Schedule
- Friday, May 2: Packet pick-up from 2-7pm at Burke Lake Park Ice Cream Parlor.
- Saturday, May 3: Race day details including parking and start times.
- Start Times: Kids Dash at 7:40am, 10K at 7:45am, 5K at 7:50am.
- Post Race: Enjoy refreshments and awards ceremony from 7:30-9:30am.
🏆 Awards and Prizes
- Finishers: Commemorative finisher medal for all participants.
- Top Finishers: Awards for top 3 overall male and female finishers in both events.
- Age Groups: Awards for age categories from 19 & under to 70 & over.
- Bragging Rights: Enjoy your achievements with awards and recognition!
🌦️ Weather Policy
- Event Type: This is a rain-or-shine event.
- Refund Policy: No refunds will be given for bad weather.

- Parking Time: Roads close to traffic at 7:30am: arrive early!
- Walking Required: 5-10 minutes walk from parking lot to start line.
- Drop-off: ADA accessible participant drop-off is available.
- Parking Staff: Follow Healthy Strides parking staff directions.
⏱️ Timing and Results
- Timing: Professionally timed by Commonwealth Race Management.
- Results: Available immediately after the race.
