🏃♂️ Gwinnett Parks Foundation Strong 5K
💪 STRONG LEGS, STRONG HEARTS, & STRONG MINDS
The Gwinnett Parks Foundation, since its formation in 2001, has promoted the use of our nationally accredited parks and recreation programs.
- Scholarship Fund: The Foundation created a scholarship fund to assure that all children and senior citizens were given the opportunity to participate in recreational and athletic activities in Gwinnett County.
- Access to Activities: Gwinnett's youth and senior citizens who cannot afford to attend summer camps, swim lessons, and recreational classes are able to do so with the help from this program.
📈 The Need is Great!
The scholarship program over the last 2 years has exploded with record numbers of applications for sports and camp funding.
- Opportunities for Youth: To assure our youth are given the opportunity to reap the benefits of organized sports and structured day camps.
- Programs for Seniors: Our senior citizens have the opportunity to participate in classes and programs.
