🏃♂️ Event Overview
- Organizer: Kinetic Physical Therapy and Wellness is hosting an event with local sponsors and support to help promote the health of the Pitt County area!
- Event Type: Half Marathon, FREE 5K, and 1 Mile Fun Run
- Goal: To give competitive and first time runners a chance to experience the benefits of exercise and healthy living.
- Location: Town Common, Greenville, NC
💰 Pricing
- Half Marathon: $55 early-bird, $65 regular, $75 on race day
- 5K & 1-Mile: FREE (but still requires pre-registration)
🕒 Times
- Race Day Registration/check in: 6:30-8:00 am
- Half Marathon start: 7:30 am
- 1-Mile start: 8:30 am
- 5K start: 9:00 am
🏆 Awards
- Half Marathon: Top 3 male & female finishers overall will receive trophies
- 5K: Top 3 male and top 3 female finishers for each age group will receive medals.
- Age Groups: Ages 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
- All Participants: Half marathon participants will receive finisher medals and a T-shirt.
🏁 Course Information
- Certification: Both the 5K and Half Marathon courses are USATF certified.
- Water Stops: Water stops and porta-potties will be available along the half marathon course.
- Time Limit: 3:30 time limit for the half marathon (approximately 15-minute pace per mile).
- 5K Water Stop: There will be one water stop along the 5K course.
📅 Packet Pickup
- Pre-Race Day Packet Pickup: Thursday, March 6th from 11:30 am-6:00 pm and Friday, March 7th from 11:30 am – 6 pm.
- Location: Kinetic Physical Therapy & Wellness, 1540 East Arlington Blvd.
- Race Day Packet Pickup: Will be at the amphitheater at Town Common from 6:30 am - 8:30 am.
🚗 Parking
- Location: CLICK HERE to check out parking around Town Common. ECU will be on Spring Break for added space.
- Additional Areas: Five Points Plaza, Roses Lot, Blount Harvey Lot, Merchant Lot, 4th Street Deck ($0.75 per hour).
🌟 Other Notes
- Arrival: Please arrive early to be at the start line on time.
- Facilities: Portable toilets will be available on the half marathon course.
- Snacks & Drinks: Available at the finish line.
- Awards Ceremony: Held live in person around the Amphitheater Stage at 10:00 am.
