2025 Sunflower Elementary Community Fun Run/Walk

🌻 Event Overview

• Purpose: The purpose of this non-competitive race is to bring the Sunflower Elementary and Lawrence community together to support health, wellness, and connection.
• Location: The race start will take place at Sunflower Elementary School in beautiful Lawrence, KS.
• Course: It consists of a loop circling the Sunflower and Southwest Middle School property that is partially off-road on grass and partially on paved sidewalk.
• Flexibility: Participants can run/walk from one to three loops based on preference, and volunteers will be present to help with route directing.

🏁 Finish Line Details

• Location: The finish line of the race is on the Southwest Middle School Track.
• T-shirt: A t-shirt is included in the entry fee.
• Pickup: T-shirts can be picked up at Sunflower the morning of the race from 7:30 to 8:45 am.
• Payment Options: Payment can also be made in person via check, cash, or PayPal the morning of the race with a t-shirt included while supplies last.

🗓️ Schedule of Events

• 9 am: Tot Trot begins on Sunflower playground blacktop near the gazebo.
• 9:10 - 9:30 am: Dad Dash on Sunflower playground blacktop near the gazebo.
• 9:30 am: Sunflower Fun Run/Walk begins! *Starting line will be on the grass near the gaga ball pit.
