🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

The Max Gruver Foundation believes there is no place for hazing in any organization. The purpose is to educate young people and parents about the dangers of hazing, the signs of hazing, and the importance of stepping up and helping when a situation appears to be getting out of control.

• Course: A mostly flat loop course
• Participation: All levels of runners and walkers are encouraged to participate

🌟 Foundation Background

The Max Gruver Foundation, based in Roswell, Georgia, is a 501(c)3 organization founded in 2017 following the death of Roswell teen Max Gruver. Max was killed in a fraternity hazing ritual during his first semester at Louisiana State University. Since that tragic day, his parents, Rae Ann and Steve Gruver, have worked tirelessly to fight hazing in organizations across the country. They regularly speak at universities and high schools, work with Greek leadership nationwide, and with legislators to create stronger laws against hazing. Their work has made tremendous changes, and will continue to do so.

• Early Pickup: Friday, February 28, 3:00-6:00 PM at Deep Roots Wine Market and Tasting Room, 1055 Canton Street, Suite 1000, Roswell, GA
• Race Day Pickup: Packets may also be picked up race morning onsite.
• Plan Accordingly: Lines tend to be long, so plan accordingly.
