MOVAL RUNS Turkey Trot 5k 2024

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

The first ever MoVal Runs Turkey Trot 5K will take place alongside the scenic Lake Perris trail, on an out-and-back course the weekend before Thanksgiving! It starts on the paved trail located along the lake, taking you towards the dam before turning around and heading to our finish line. This is a completely flat course, ready for you to set your next personal record.

• Registration Includes: a custom bib, finisher medal, awards ceremony for top finishers, and complimentary finish line drinks & snacks.
• Hydration Station: provided by Nutrishop.
• Participants: This race is for all runners & walkers, from your first 5K to elite runners looking for a fast race.

👟 About MoVal Runs

MoVal Runs is a newly formed run club in Moreno Valley that has grown to over 60 regular attendees at our monthly meet ups. Our mission is to provide a welcoming environment for all runners to enjoy with the main goal of creating awesome races with a low entry fee. This is a huge step towards our goal and we thank you for supporting our run club.

This race is on track to sell out! If registration is closed online there will be no same day registration. Please stay up to date with details on our Instagram.

• Date and Time: The MoVal Runs Turkey Trot 5K takes place on Saturday, November 23rd @ 8:00AM.
• Parks Fee: $10 park entry fee per vehicle, carpooling is encouraged! This fee is separate from our registration and is paid to Lake Perris Recreation area at the entrance gate of the park.
• Parking Opens: @ 7:00AM
• Registration: @ 7:20 - 7:55AM

🏆 Awards and Ceremonies

Awards Ceremony @ 9:00AM. All registered runners will receive a custom 2024 finisher medal!

• Medals: 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place medal for 18+ Male & Female.
• Youth Medals: 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place medal for 17 & under Male & Female.
• Grand Prize: Turkey dinner for 1st place Male & Female overall!
• Refreshments: There will be a water station at the halfway point and we will have complimentary drinks & snacks at the start/finish line.
