About Sadie

• In Memory: We lost our amazing, beautiful daughter on January 31, 2022.
• Age: She was just 14 years old.
• Health Struggles: After contracting COVID, we received the devastating news that she was also diagnosed with leukemia.
• Legacy: The combination of both diagnoses was too much for her body to handle and we lost her just 33 days later.

Race Purpose

• Transforming Grief: Help us turn grief into joy.
• Community Involvement: We volunteered often through the National Charity League.
• Supporting Philanthropy: Walk, jog, or run in Sadie's honor to support her favorite philanthropy, Retrievers and Friends of Southern CA.
• Animal Welfare: They are an all-volunteer, non-profit organization devoted to finding homes for dogs and cats.

Sadie's Contribution

• Volunteer Experience: Sadie enjoyed spending time there socializing animals, doing laundry, and cleaning the kennels.
• Donation Support: A portion of every registration fee will be donated to them.
