🏃♀️ Race Overview
We lost our amazing, beautiful daughter on January 31, 2022. She was just 14 years old. After contracting COVID, we received the devastating news that she also was diagnosed with leukemia. The combination of both diagnoses was too much for her body to handle and we lost her just 33 days later.
💖 Purpose of the Event
- Mission: Help us turn grief into joy.
- In Honor of Sadie: Walk, jog, or run in Sadie’s honor to support her favorite philanthropy.
- Supporting Cause: Retrievers and Friends of Southern CA, an all-volunteer, non-profit organization devoted to finding homes for dogs and cats.
- Community Involvement: Sadie enjoyed spending time there socializing animals, doing laundry, and cleaning the kennels.

A portion of every registration fee will be donated to them.
