• Beneficiary: Proceeds benefit the West Texas Rehab Center and the Abilene Runners Club.

🎉 Race Description

• Mass Start: with Chip Timing!
• Neighborhood: The race winds through the Lytle neighborhood in Abilene, Texas.
• Family Fun: A great race for a fun time with family and friends.
• Motto: "Walk/run 3.1 miles and eat guilt free the rest of the day!"

🗓️ Event Details and Schedule

• Early Registration: Available until midnight, Sunday, November 10, 2024. Shirts not guaranteed after this date.
• Course: 5K route through Lytle Lake neighborhood, begins and ends outside Shotwell Stadium.
• Parking: Available on the North and West side of Shotwell Stadium.
• Cancellation: Due to inclement weather at the discretion of the Race Director: no refunds will be available.

🥇 Finisher Medals

• Medals: Finishers medals will be given to everyone who completes the course.
• Prices: Early registration ends at midnight of November 10, 2024.
• Fees: $25 per person: $17 per person for the 1-mile kids fun-run (ages 0-12).
• Shirt Guarantee: No shirts guaranteed after November 10, 2024!

📦 Packet Pick-Up and Late Registration

• Date: Wednesday, November 27, 2024, from Noon-6:00 PM.
• Location: Abilene Running Company, 2654 Industrial Blvd, Abilene, Texas 79605.
• Race Day: No Race Day packet pick-up and late registration.
• Claiming Shirts: Race shirts/bibs not claimed by the start of the race can be picked up the following week.

⏰ Race Day Information

• 5K Start: 8:00 sharp - no exceptions!
• Kids Fun-Run: Begins at 9:00 AM.
• Timing: Please place your bib on the front, outside your clothing for chip detection.
• Arrival: Arrive prior to 8:00 AM for pre-race ceremony between 7:45 AM - 8:00 AM.

🌦️ Weather and Parking Reminders

• Weather: Be prepared for any type of weather as it is West Texas.
• Parking Lot: The Expo Center parking lot is locked at 10:30 AM: do not leave vehicles after the race.
• Preferred Parking: We highly encourage everyone to use the Shotwell Stadium parking.
• Refund Policy: No refunds available if the race is cancelled.
