Troll Trail 5K and 1 Mile Candy Run

🎃 1 Mile Candy Run

• Start Time: Race Starts at 5:00PM for ages 6-10
• Course: 1 mile race where children have the option to dress up and collect candy along the 1 mile out and back course.
• Awards: Medals will be awarded for each age division and group (1st-3rd).
• Costume Prizes: Best costume prizes will be awarded.

🏞️ Troll Trail 5K

• Start Time: Race starts at 5:30 PM
• Beneficiary: This is the 4th Annual Troll Trail 5K benefiting the Union High School Wrestling team.
• Course Details: The race starts and finishes at the Powell River Trail head in Appalachia, VA. This will be a fun out and back course that is perfect for all experience levels.
• Unique Features: This paved course will take you through two old train tunnels!
• Costume Encouragement: Runners are encouraged to dress up and try to win the best costume awards.
• Candy Collection: Runners are also encouraged to bring something to collect candy as there will be people handing out candy along the course.
• Awards: Medals will be given to the overall male and female finishers and medals will be given to the top three in each age group.

📝 Registration Information

• Same Day Registration: Starts at 4:00 PM at the Historical Kelly View School for both races.
• Race Shirt: Only pre-registered runners are guaranteed a race shirt.
