- Event: Our starting event for The Polar Festival!
- Race Type: 5K Frozen Race with a Polar Plunge at the finish
- Start/Finish: The Big Stone Gap Visitor’s Center
- Registration: Option to Plunge Only or Race w/Plunge but registration fee is the same (everyone gets the awesome shirt).
🌊 Post-Race Activities
- Essentials: All contestants partaking in the PLUNGE are highly encouraged to bring towels and a dry change of clothing.
- Amenities: Fire pits will be set up to dry you out and warm you up.
- Extras: Adult beverages to knock off the chill, Chilly Chilly Cook-Off, music, food and fun for all!
💵 Registration Costs
- Early Bird: The cost is $50 through February 7
- Race Day: Increases to $55
- Timed Event: This is an official timed event with awards for Overall Top Female and Male & Age Group Awards.
