Join us on Saturday, February 1st, 2025 at Save the Chimps for the 10th Annual Chimpathon 5K/10K! This race will be chip-timed with a flat and fast course starting & finishing at the sanctuary!
🌳 Unique Experience
Runners and walkers will have the unique opportunity to travel the perimeter of the Save the Chimps Sanctuary, home to over 220 rescued Chimpanzees!
🏆 Awards and Medals
- Awards: Awards will be given to top finishers
- Participation: All participants will receive a finisher medal and performance shirt
⏰ Race Day Schedule
- Arrival: Runners and walkers are strongly encouraged to arrive at the Sanctuary no later than 7:30am
- Packet Pickup: Packet Pickup will be available at the Sanctuary starting at 7:00am and will close at 7:45am
- Pre-Collection: All participants are encouraged to collect their race packets prior to race day.
- Reminder: No animals permitted as they may disturb the chimps
📦 Packet Pickup 1/30 & 1/31
- Date: Pre-Race packet pickup will be available at Orange Theory Fitness on Thursday 1/30 from 12pm-4pm

- Date: Pre-Race packet pickup will be available at Runner's Depot Vero Beach on Friday 1/31 from 10am-4pm

🏁 Race Day
Race day packet pickup will be available near the starting line from 7:00am - 7:45am.
In order to care and prepare the Chimps, the sanctuary will not be open for vehicle parking until 7am. Some traffic is expected and our team will work diligently to park everyone quickly, efficiently, and safely. For this reason, all participants are strongly encouraged to pick up their race day materials in advance of race day.
