Annual Alplaus Runaround and Community Event, one of the longest-standing running races in the entire Capital Region. This wonderful community event brings together children, individuals, families, friends, and runners of all ages from Alplaus and surrounding communities.

- Events: One Mile Fun Run and 5K around the great hamlet of Alplaus.
- Course: A runner friendly course that is flat, paved, and slightly down hill for many sections.
- Speed: A fast 5K course.
- Certification: New this year, the Alplaus Runaround 5K course is USATF certified.
