Viking Family & Friends Mile

🎉 Race Overview

Let's bring the FGHS Cross Country community together to celebrate the team and recognize our seniors one last time! Cheer on the Cross Country team at their senior night followed by an opportunity to run a mile under the lights cheered on by the athletes.

🗓️ Schedule of Events

• 4:30 PM: FGXC Ladies Mile
• 4:45 PM: FGXC Mens Mile Heat 1 followed by Heat 2
• 5:40 PM: Girls Youth Mile 2 heats (8th grade and younger)
• 6:10 PM: Boys Youth Mile (8th grade and younger)

🏅 Senior Recognition

6:30 PM: FGHS Senior recognition

🏃‍♂️ Community Races

• 7:00 PM: Race for anyone high school & older who thinks they may need walk breaks and might take more than 12 minutes to complete the mile.
• 7:20 PM: Race for anyone high school & older who will run the entire mile anticipating a finish time of 8:00-10:00 minutes.
• 7:20 PM: Race for anyone high school & older who will run the entire mile anticipating a finish time of less than 8:00 minutes.

💵 Entry Fees and Donations

Entries for Youth and Open Miles is $5 per person - payable on this site when you register. You will have the opportunity to add an additional amount at checkout if you are able to. We are hoping to make this our annual, yearly fundraiser and would love to have all the support we can. Share the link, invite your friends. Let's have some fun!

We will also collect cash/check donations at the race - and maybe even have some raffle prizes.
