Shamrock Shuffle 5K

🍀 Event Overview

• Details: You're invited to attend the 13th Annual Chamber of Commerce Shamrock Shuffle 5K run/walk that will take place on Saturday, March 15th, 2025 beginning at 10:00 a.m.
• Location: 236 East Mount Vernon Street, Somerset, KY
• Celebration: Come out for a day of fun and racing in the Pulaski County area as we celebrate St. Patrick's Day ..... Lake Cumberland Style !!!
• Participation: The Shamrock Shuffle welcomes participants of all ability levels, from runners who are beginning their annual running and fitness regimen to seasoned veterans.

🏆 Race Details

• Course: The course is a measured 5K race, and professional chip timing will be used to ensure race time accuracy.
• Commemorative T-Shirt: Race participants will receive a commemorative t-shirt (Shirts will only be guaranteed for people who register before race day).
• Organizer: The Pulaski County Shamrock Shuffle is organized by the Somerset-Pulaski County Chamber of Commerce and held in Somerset.
• Start/Finish: The race will begin and end at The Chamber of Commerce office.

🎭 Fun Activities

• Costume Contest: There will be a costume contest for "best dressed" ..... so go ahead and get your best St. Patrick's Day themed outfit ready for race day.
• Proceeds: Proceeds from the race will go to support our local business community through Chamber programs.

💲 Registration Costs

• Early Registration: January 1 - March 3 = $25.00
• Pre-Race Registration: March 4 - March 14 = $30.00
• Race Day Registration: Race Day (March 15) = $32.00
• Timing: Chip timing will be used at this year’s Shamrock Shuffle.

🎁 Participant Bag Includes

• Item 1: Event Bib Number
• Item 2: Event T-Shirt (Men's & Women's sizes)
• Item 3: Course Map

🏅 Awards & Recognition

• Top Runners: Plaques will be awarded to the overall "Top 3 Runners" for both men and women.
• Age Category Medals: Top finisher in each age group for both Male and Female will receive an awesome award medal. Age Overall race winners are removed from the age categories.
• Age Groups: Male and Female: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

👥 Team Awards

• Fastest Team: The Fastest Team will be awarded Plaques based on the cumulative times of the fastest 5 finishers on each team.
• Largest Team: The Largest Team will also receive Plaques.
• Team Size: Team must have, but are not limited to, 5 members.
