Fairview Baptist 5K Run For Missions

🌸 Spring Celebration

Here are some sure signs of spring if you live in Rockcastle County: the weather is getting warmer, the Redbuds are blooming, and it’s almost time for the 15th annual Fairview Baptist Church 5K Run For Missions!

In celebration of our 15th year, participants will be treated to Chick-fil-A breakfast sandwiches after the race!

🗓️ Event Details

• Race time: 8:30 a.m. EST. Registration opens at 7:30 a.m.
• Check-in: Please register or check-in by 8:15 a.m. Please allow additional time for registration and parking.
• Pre-registration fee: $20.00. Ends Tuesday, April 22 at 12 Noon.
• Race day registration: $25.
• Family Discount: Family of 4 or more $17.50 each. Contact Twila Burdette at t.burdette@:rhrcc.org for more information.
• T-shirt: All paid participants pre-registered prior to April 22 noon deadline receive a free Tultex t-shirt. After April 22, shirt availability is not guaranteed.
• Awards: Top male and female finisher: 5K age group awards (12-under: 13-19: 20-29: 30-39: 40-49: 50-59: 60-69: 70-79: 80+), and top three male and female walkers.
• Race series: Race 4 of 12 in the 2025 County-wide Stride race series.

👦 Kids Club 2025

• Participation: Kids age 4-12 run FREE! No shirt included in registration, but may be added on for additional fee.
• Awards eligibility: Only 5K runners eligible for age group awards.
• Incentives: Kids will receive a commemorative silicone bracelet each race! Collect 7 bracelets to receive a $25 gift card and custom Kids Club t-shirt at the end of the 2025 series!
• Running requirement: Kids must run or walk -- no strollers -- to be eligible for awards and incentives.
