🎗️ Our Mission
- Foundation Purpose: The Mathew Forbes Romer Foundation’s mission is to promote and lead critical awareness, testing, counseling, and research initiatives that hold promise for the prevention and eventual cure of fatal children’s genetic diseases of the brain.
- Funding Raised: MFRF has provided leadership and raised approximately $2.5 million for projects across three pillars: Research of Treatments and Cures, Education and Genetic Screening, and Nursing School Educational programs.
- Progress Achieved: MFRF has celebrated wonderful progress in education, genetic testing, and gene therapy patient trials for many affected children and families.
- Future Goals: There is still much more to do, including earlier detection and expanding treatment availability.

- Purpose: Join us on January 12th, 2025, to raise community awareness and funds for vital projects.
- Sleep In Option: Support the charity from home! Your shirt and finisher medal will be mailed: no time submission needed.
- T-Shirts: Register by December 17th to guarantee your size. Late registrations may not receive a shirt.
