🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

On March 1, 2025, The Waxahachie Running Club and the Midlothian Running Club join forces with the Waxahachie Lions Club to sponsor the Hachie 50. The event will benefit the Waxahachie Lion's Club, which supports local children and schools in Ellis County. Title Sponsors are: Edward Jones of Waxahachie -- Paul Box, Paul Colwell, Nick Box and Wess Winn.

🌳 Course Details

The race is held in Waxahachie's Getzendaner city park that is mostly closed to traffic. Course is 90% on concrete sidewalks, 10% dirt/gravel. This is a beautiful, FAST, FLAT & Tree-lined out-n-back course!

Custom T-shirts: Participants will receive exclusive custom t-shirts.
Unique Medals: Each participant will earn a unique custom medal.
Free Race Photos: Online race photos will be provided at no cost.
Food & Drinks: Plenty of refreshments will be available during and after the event.

We will have 4 adult race options:

50 Mile: Ultra-marathon Race
30 Mile: Ultra-marathon Race
26.2 Marathon: Race (Will be a BQ certified course)
50 Mile: Team Relay

🤝 About Us

The Waxahachie Running Club is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization that promotes running and walking in Ellis County, which is south of Dallas, TX. We are a friendly, family-oriented group that welcomes all levels: from beginners in our 5k training program up to competitive marathoners, ultra-marathoners, trail-runners and triathletes. Our goal is to bring runners and walkers together encouraging safe, friendly fun-runs. Started in June of 2011 we have grown to over 2300 members.
