📚 Description
The GO! St. Louis Read, Right, & Run Marathon® (RRRM) goal is to develop reading-proficient, community-minded and physically fit children in grades K-8 by challenging them to READ 26 books, RIGHT the community with 26 good deeds, and RUN 26.2 miles over a 26 week period.
🏁 Program Structure
- Duration: 26 weeks of hard work.
- Location: The program culminates in Forest Park on race day.
- Coordination: Managed entirely by coordinators leading up to the race.
- Race Participation: Students complete the race distance they are registered for on race day.
👟 Participation Details
- Grades K-8: Will run 1.2 miles on race day to complete the program.
- Event Specifics: Run solely with other RRRM students.
- Start Time: Specific start time will be provided closer to race day.
- Communication: Coordinators will inform families with more information as race day approaches.
🏃♂️ 5K Option for Grades 6-8
- Distance: Students complete their program by running the 5K distance.
- Registration: Each student should register through the RRRM program.
- Race Day: Students will race with other Read, Right & Run 5K runners.
