21st Annual Run in the Park

Hermann Park Conservancy’s Run in the Park, powered by Reliant, is back for its 21st year!

Runners can choose to attend the in-person race, or run from the comfort of your own home virtually! Taking place on November 16, 2024, participants will be able to run – or walk – to support the efforts of the Conservancy. All proceeds from Run in the Park go towards the crucial work needed to maintain Hermann Park, which is an essential outdoor space for our community.

With 5K and 10K routes, as well as a 1K kids’ route, for the in-person events, exercise enthusiasts of all ages and abilities can come explore the Park and enjoy the shaded trails enjoyed by millions of visitors per year. The event starts and ends at the Molly Ann Smith Plaza, near the Jones Reflection Pool, and includes a post-run party with food, drinks, music, and more!

Want to Run at Home?

The Conservancy is also offering an at-home, virtual option!

Taking place from Sunday, November 17 through Sunday, November 24, 2024, you can support Hermann Park at your own pace, from the comfort of your own neighborhood! Virtual registrants will still get the exclusive Run in the Park t-shirt and access to an online leaderboard.

Packet Pickups will occur on Saturday, November 9, 2024  from 10:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Fleet Feet (4502 Greenbriar Dr, Houston, TX 77005), at McGovern Centennial Gardens on the dates listed below (1500 Hermann Dr, Houston, TX 77004), and at Run in the Park starting at 7:00 a.m.
