Robin Run

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

The Annual Robin Run celebrates the life and rich legacy of Robin Givens. Robin encouraged others, especially youth, to be their best selves. The proceeds of the Robin Run will go to Y-GIG, The Foundation YMCA's Middle School Afterschool Program. Y-GIG is a safe, supportive, fun place to gather, interact and grow.

📝 Registration

• Open to all: The Robin Run 4 mile run/walk and 1 mile family fun run/walk is open to people of ALL AGES & ABILITIES.
• Shirt guarantee: Shirts are guaranteed to those who register for the 4 mile run/walk by October 20th.
• Race day registration: There will be race day registration, but we encourage you to register before the October 20th shirt guarantee cut off.
• 1 mile fun run: Participants do not receive a shirt, but you can purchase one for $15 on race day. (Quantities are limited and are first come first served)

📅 Early Packet Pickup

• For pre-registered: For those who have pre-registered only.
• Location: Race site located at the Foundation YMCA 212 Broad Street West Wilson NC 27893 (Parking Deck Address).
• Date and time: Friday November 8th 4:30pm-6:30pm.

🏆 Awards

• Finisher award: Each participant will receive an award for finishing the 4 miles.
• Top performers: Top 3 Male and Female in each of these age groups will receive an award.
• Age groups: Ages: <9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+.

🤝 Coed Team Challenge

• Team size: 5 participant minimum on each team.
• Winners determination: Average time of the top 3 runners on each team will determine winners.
• Awards: 1st, 2nd and 3rd place awards.

📏 Course Details

• Course type: Nearly half of the course is on a greenway with very little traffic.
• Overall layout: Overall it is a flat course with limited turns.

• Parking options: 5 level parking deck located at the race site.
• Convenience: Parking is convenient, safe, and plentiful.
