🎃 Join Us for Track or Treat!
Come and join us for a spooky (not too spooky -- we scare easily), family and kid friendly night of running and treats under the lights at the track!
Costumes not required! But it'll be pretty darn cute to see a bunch of princesses, dinosaurs, aliens, Olafs, and more running down the track!
👻 Location Details
The fangtastic races and trick or treating will be at the Worthingway Middle School track on October 29th.
Registration and the event will open at 6:00pm!
🌕 Event Schedule
Not to worry, we checked and there's no full moon that night. Of course, if you're still worried, here's the schedule of events we'll have that night:
- 6:00pm - Registration/Trick or Treat Path Open
- 6:30pm - Tiny Terrors - Ages 3 and Under - 200 Meters (1/2 lap) - Untimed with clock.
- 6:35pm - Little Goblins - Grades 1 and under, Ages 4 to 6 - 400 meters (1 lap) - Untimed with clock.
- 6:40pm - Speedy Squatches - Grades 3 and under, ages 7 to 9 - 400 meters (1 lap) - Untimed with clock.
- 6:45pm - Halloween Cartoons Begin on the Big Screen!
- 6:45pm - Grades 4-6 - 1/2 mile (2 laps) - Untimed with clock.
- 7:15pm - Grades 7-8 - 1 mile (4 laps) - Hand timed with clock.
- 7:45pm - Grades 9-12 - 1 mile (4 laps) - Hand timed with clock.
- 7:45pm - All-Comers (adult..ish) - 1 mile (4 laps) - Hand timed with clock.
Please Note -- the events may have multiple heats depending on registration numbers.
👶 Younger Monsters Welcome!
Oh yeah! We'll have the trick or treat booths lined up on the in-field of the track with tons of goodies for the little ghouls and goblins to take home, as well as some family friendly Halloween cartoons projected on a big screen on the in-field as well!
🎽 Race Packets and More
Each participant receives a race number, glow sticks, and a bag for treats! Race number must be worn on FRONT of runner/shirt/costumes.
Packet pick up will be at Fleet Feet Lewis Center (Google Maps Link here) on October 28th from 11am--7pm.
Event parking can be found in the parking lots around the school, as well as street parking in the surrounding neighborhood.
