Mother's Day 5k

🎉 Event Overview

Join us Saturday, May 10th as we celebrate mothers with the 4th Annual Mother’s Day 5k. Athletes will be treated to a great event.

Starting downtown, athletes will run through Ocala’s beautiful Historic District and finish in Citizens Circle. Promptly after, there will be music and a Mother’s Day Celebration.

• Race Medal: An awesome race medal (First 275 sign ups, all others will receive medals from previous events)

💰 Pricing Information

Early bird pricing starts at $35 (+Processing and taxes) if you sign up before March 31st. Price will increase to $40 (+Processing and taxes) from April 1st until race day. The day of race registration will be $50.

🚫 No Dog Policy

We love dogs and understand they are part of the family, but unfortunately, we cannot permit them to participate in our 5K races. This policy is in place because our event insurance does not cover the participation of dogs, and we must prioritize the safety and well-being of all participants, both human and canine.

🔑 Key Points of the Policy

• No Dogs Allowed on the Course: For safety and liability reasons, dogs are not permitted to accompany runners or walkers during the race.
• Spectator Pets: Well-behaved and leashed dogs are welcome to spectate along the sidelines, provided they remain under control and do not enter the race course.
• Service Animals: Registered service animals are, of course, an exception to this rule, as they are covered under legal protections.
• Alternative Participation Options: If you’re looking for a dog-friendly race experience, please let us know, and we can share recommendations for other events in the area that welcome canine companions.
