🏃♂️ Event Overview
LOW50k Runners! We are so excited for our 4th Annual Lake Of The Woods 5k & 50K! January 20th!
The race will begin at 7:50am (5k) & 8am (50k) on Saturday February 15th, located at the Lake Of The Woods Camp Grounds (3939 Swartzel Rd Farmersville, Ohio 45325).
🎖️ Racer Amenities
- Included Items: Every runner/rucker who signs up for the 5k or 50k run/ruck will get an official 2024 LOW50k poster, a LOW50k keychain, and a finishers medal included with sign up!
- Merchandise: Official race sweatpants will be $25 and will be available for pre-order up until January 31st!
🏞️ Course Information
- Course Structure: Runners will line up outside of the clubhouse/main aid station area near the lake, and take off on a 5k looped course.
- Distance Breakdown: Runners participating in the 5k will stop after one loop and runners participating in the 50k will go out for 10 loops.
- Course Features: The course loops through the woods and around the lake, featuring hills and a creek crossing (Not deep).
- Facilities: The campground features a shower house with heated restrooms, a clubhouse for warming up, and an outdoor shelter that will serve as the main aid station.
📝 Registration Details
Quick Look Details:
- 5k Run/Ruck Registration: Early bird $25 (now through 11/30/24): $35 (12/1/23 through 2/15/24)
- 50k Run/Ruck Registration: Early bird $55 (now through 11/30/24): $65 (12/1/24 through 2/15/25)
- Packet Pick Up: Begins at 6:30AM
- Event Start Times: 5k begins at 7:50AM (10 minutes before 50k start), 50k begins at 8AM, 50k ends at 6pm (10 hour cutoff)
🚻 Facilities & Accessibility
- Rucking Requirements: Ruckers must carry a minimum of 25lbs (weigh in at packet pick up). No weighted vests.
- Restroom Accessibility: Heated Indoor Bathrooms/showers are located near the main aid station shelter.
- Outdoor Facilities: Two outdoor Portable Restrooms will be on course by the main aid.
- Aid Stations: Two aid stations will be on the course.
🌧️ Weather Policy & Parking
This event is rain or shine (or snow). Parking can be located at the campground. Enter the main entrance gate then follow the road ahead as it curves to the right (follow the light up arrow signs), make a right at the intersection and park along the field. From the parking area you will need to walk less than a quarter mile to the clubhouse.

We expect amazing finishes, tough trails, and maybe even a Bigfoot sighting or two.... See you there!
