This November, gear up for the Turkey Shuffle, the premiere race of our exciting new series, set against the stunning backdrop of Flat Creek Estate in the Texas Hill Country. This premier wine destination, known for its epic eighty-acre estate, offers a one-of-a-kind experience with its Tuscan-inspired tasting room, full-service restaurant, The Bistro at Flat Creek Estate, covered outdoor pavilion, working vineyard and winery, 18-hole disc golf course, walking trails, and more.

The Turkey Shuffle is the perfect way to continue your Thanksgiving festivities and work off those feast calories. Taking place the day after Thanksgiving, this event offers a range of distances to suit all runners: choose from a 1-mile jaunt, a 5-kilometer challenge, or a 10-kilometer trek through the picturesque trails of the estate. For our youngest participants, the Kids Dash provides a fun sprint of approximately 50 meters, designed for children aged 10 and under.

As you run through the vibrant fall colors and enjoy a break from the Texas heat, DJ Sasquatch will keep you energized with the best music. Every runner will be recognized with age group awards celebrating your achievements, and the festive atmosphere will be further enhanced by our exciting costume contest.

The costume contest at the Turkey Shuffle is going to be a spectacular highlight you won’t want to miss! Unleash your creativity and dazzle us with your most fabulous Thanksgiving-themed outfit. Whether you’re rocking a turkey tutu, a pilgrim’s hat, or an inventive feast-inspired ensemble, this is your chance to shine. The competition will be fierce, and the grand prize is the coveted "Biggest Turkey" trophy—an honor that celebrates the best and most creative Thanksgiving attire! Get ready for a fun-filled showcase where the most imaginative costumes take the spotlight. So, gather your costume ideas, bring your holiday spirit, and join in on the excitement. You could be the one walking away with the coolest trophy and bragging rights for the most spectacular Thanksgiving getup!

Winner will receive an impressive "Biggest Turkey" Trophy and a prize pack that includes a certificate for 2 free future races, a $40 HEB gift card to enhance your Thanksgiving feast, and a special Bigfoot Running Company Swag Pack filled with cool goodies.

🎖️ Finisher Medals & Awards

Join in all the festivities you have come to expect from a Bigfoot Running Company event. Awesome medals, cool Tee's, high energy staff, 100% focus on participant experience, live awards, and let’s not forget the coveted Bigfoot Trophies. Snacks and refreshments will be available when you finish at the race rally tent. Our DJ will be playing all the hits and announcing every runner. All award winners will be announced and recognized for their accomplishments. Aid stations will be on the course to provide water and to assist should you have any concerns during your run. Our primary focus is to make your race fun, safe and exciting.

All finishers of all distances will receive a medal and shirt.

💰 Pricing and Discounts

• Youth Pricing: Youth-based pricing for the 5k & 10K - 12 & Under are only $15!
• Referral Discount: Participants will receive a $20 refund if they refer 5 others.
• Group Discounts: Join as a group and receive special group discounts. The larger your group gets the larger your group discount gets.

📋 Race Distances

• Kids Dash: This event is for our little Yeti's and is typically about a 50 meter dash. Designed for kids 10 and under. This is not timed and includes a tee shirt, race medal, and exclusive Kids Dash recognition pin.
• 1 Mile: Our 1 mile race is designed for all ages and experience levels. This event is not chipped timed and includes a tee shirt and race medal.
• 5K: Our 5K race will take you 3.11 miles through the course. This event is chip timed and features 1st overall trophies for male and female finishers, special recognition pins for 1st place male and female master's category as well as our standard age group awards.
• 10K: Our 10K race will take you 6.22 miles through the course. This event is chip timed and features 1st overall Bigfoot trophies for male and female finishers, special recognition pins for 1st place male and female master's category as well as our standard age group awards.

🎉 Event Schedule

Packet Pickup: 9:30-10:45am
Kids Dash: 10:55am (Meet at the Start Line and we will walk participants out to the starting area)
Race Start: 11:00am (National Anthem and Race Start!)
Results and Awards are live and available at the Registration tent immediately following your finish!

Sign up to volunteer under the "VOLUNTEER" tab on the top menu. Course Monitor and Aid Station volunteers earn a Bigfoot race shirt, souvenir race medal (subject to availability), VIP race access and your choice of a FREE race entry to a future event to use for yourself or to gift to someone else or a $20 pre-paid digital gift card!
