- Host: Hosted by the Leander Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Center, the 10th annual Old Town Rudolph Run 5K takes place in Old Town Leander.
- Start Location: The event starts in the heart of Old Town and tours through the streets of Leander.
- Course: The course is flat and fast with no hills or rough terrain.
- Participation: This 5K will have limited participation, so sign up early to ensure you can join us for this exciting event.
📅 Race Details and Schedule
- Date and Time: The Old Town Street Stride 5K is on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at 11:00 am.
- Timed Course: The chip-timed course is mostly flat & fast.
- Location: The race will begin and finish at 100 N. Brushy St. in Old Town Leander.
- Entrant Perks: Every 5K entrant will receive a high quality shirt of his/her choice and a custom color/glitter finisher's medal.
👶 Accessibility
- Stroller Friendly: This is a stroller-friendly race.
- Dog Friendly: This is a dog-friendly race: all dogs must be on leashes and only friendly dogs are allowed.
🎟️ Packet Pick Up
- Dates: Race packets can be picked up at the Leander Chamber of Commerce on Thursday the 30th or Friday the 31st from 9 am to 5 pm.
- Race Day Pickup: Packets can also be picked up the morning of the race starting at 10 am.
- Deadline: All packets must be picked up by June 7th.
🏆 Prizes
- Awards Ceremony: The 5K awards ceremony will follow the completion of the race.
- Categories: A first place gold medal will be awarded to the top finisher in each age category (14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 and over) for male and female.
- Finisher Medals: All finishers will receive a medal as they cross the finish line.
🅿️ Parking Information
- Parking Locations: Parking is available in the LISD parking lots surrounding Old Town and along the streets of Old Town.
- Access Directions: For easy access to the lots, follow these directions: From Crystal Falls Parkway, turn onto S. West Drive.
- Approach: Follow S. West Drive North towards Old Town. Lots will be on your right and left as you get close to Old Town.
- Note: These lots are not accessible from 183.
