🏃♂️ Taking Strides For Prevention 5k - Our Cause
In 2014, Miamisburg High School Student Government joined with a former Miamisburg student to start a mission to raise awareness for prevention of child abuse and reach out to victims of child abuse by showing them how to persevere! After a year off, Taking Strides For Prevention 5k is coming back to Miamisburg only with a new location - Riverfront Park in Downtown Miamisburg. The race will start at 10:00AM.
- Partnership: MHS Student Government is partnering with the Dayton Alumni Chapter of Kappa Delta Sorority.
- Proceeds: 80% of proceeds will go to Care House of Dayton, our community’s advocacy center for victims of abuse and neglect.
- Support: 20% will go to Prevent Child Abuse America, whose mission is to prevent the abuse and neglect of our nation’s children.
🎽 Race Entry Information
Your race entry includes a t-shirt, but you have the option to upgrade to a sweatshirt if you like. October 14 is the deadline to register and get a shirt.
