South Lyon Pumpkinfest "Lead the Parade" 5k

🎃 Race Details

On Saturday, Sept 27, 2025, our 5K will lead the Pumpkinfest Parade down South Lyon's Pontiac Trail through thousands of spectators lining the route. Registration, Start, and Finish are at Millennium Middle School at the south end of the track. Registration and packet pick up are near the 9 Mile Road Millennium parking lot/track. Packet pick up begins at 8 AM. Enter the track & field facility via the 9 Mile Road entrance.

⚠️ Important Notes

• Half Marathon: Our Half Marathon is back (Sunday, Sept 28, 2025) now that the construction inside Island Lake State Recreation Area is complete. Please check back here for updates. The Half Marathon registration is not active yet.
• Parking Change: The Pumpkinfest Parade changed routes in 2024. As a result, parking has changed for the runners from earlier years. PLEASE PARK IN THE TEACHER'S PARKING LOT on the west end of Millennium near the track. Enter this parking lot from 9 MILE road.
• Overflow Parking: Overflow parking will be at Centennial Middle School a short distance west of Millennium. Please note! Pontiac Trail will be shut down about 9:30 AM. You may need to get to the race via 9 Mile Road if you are arriving late.
