We are excited for our 3rd annual Larry Prout Jr (The Bear) Courage Fund 5k and 1 mile run/walk fundraiser! This year's race will be held on Saturday, June 28th.
💖 Beneficiary Information
Proceeds from this event assist University of Michigan Mott Children's Hospital families whose loved ones are enduring complex medical issues with:
- Gas: Support for transportation needs.
- Food: Assistance for nutritional needs.
- Utilities: Help with essential services.
- Emergency Repairs: Aid for auto and home repairs.
💲 Pricing Information
PRICING 5K: $30 until 6/18. $35 from 6/19 to 6/27. $40 on race day. Online registration only on race day.
FAMILY/FRIENDS Special Pricing: $3/person discount when registering 3 or more people at the same time. Discount automatically applied during registration. Valid only for the 5k. Valid until 6/18.
PRICING 1 MILE: $25 until 6/18. $30 from 6/19 to 6/26. $35 on race day. Online registration only on race day.
T-shirts are guaranteed with entry by end of day June 13th. Supplies available as they last after that date.

📦 Packet Pickup
PACKET PICKUP: Race day morning June 28th, 8:00 am to 10:00 at the Registration/Check-in Tent. Race packets include: event and sponsor information, race t-shirt, and bib.
🌐 Virtual Runners
VIRTUAL RUNNERS: Register by June 13th to be guaranteed a t-shirt. Price is $30. Your packet (including t-shirt and event and sponsor information) will be mailed as the race approaches. You can post your results by going to the results tab at the top of the page and selecting virtual results. Results must be submitted July 6th.
📈 Results
RESULTS will be live during the race and posted on this website. The race will be professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation.
