We are excited for our 3rd annual Larry Prout Jr (The Bear) Courage Fund 5k and 1 mile run/walk fundraiser! This year's race will be held on Saturday, June 28th.

💰 Proceeds Benefiting Families

• Assistance: Proceeds from this event assist University of Michigan Mott Children's Hospital families whose loved ones are enduring complex medical issues.
• Support: Aid with gas, food, utilities, clothes, emergency auto and home repairs, and many other basic necessities.
• Focus: Support for families facing the medical crisis of a loved one.

💵 Pricing Information

• 5K Pricing: $30 until 6/18: $35 from 6/19 to 6/27: $40 on race day.
• Special Discount: $3/person discount when registering 3 or more people at the same time (valid until 6/18).
• 1 Mile Pricing: $25 until 6/18: $30 from 6/19 to 6/26: $35 on race day.
• T-shirts: Guaranteed with entry by end of day June 13th.

📍 Course Details

Same location as last year: however, we'll have an updated course for 2025. Details coming soon!

📅 Packet Pickup

Race day morning June 28th, 8:00 am to 10:00 at the Registration/Check-in Tent. Race packets include event and sponsor information, race t-shirt, and bib.

💻 Virtual Runners

• Registration: Register by June 13th to be guaranteed a t-shirt.
• Price: $30 for virtual participants.
• Packet: Your packet will be mailed as the race approaches.
• Results Submission: Results must be submitted by July 6th.

🏆 Results

Results will be live during the race and posted on this website. The race will be professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation.
