Running For The Paws in Whoville 5K

🎄 Event Overview

Come out to the Whoville Celebration and enjoy dressing up as your favorite Whoville character or Christmas character while running or walking to raise funds for a good cause! Saved By Grace Animal Rescue will host this event to help raise funds for the rescue.

• Event Type: 5K race/walk and fun run will kick off the Whoville Celebration.

🎟️ Registration Information

• Registration Deadline: Participants will receive a bib and water bottle if signed up by November 18.
• Chipped Timing: This race will be chipped and timed.
• Race Fees: $25 in ADVANCE and $30 on RACE DAY for the 5K Run/Walk: $20 in ADVANCE and $25 on RACE DAY for the 1 Mile Fun Run.
• Awards: Medals will be given for overall male and female and top finishers in age groups.

⏰ Schedule

• 7:30 AM: Race packets will be handed out.
• 8:00 AM: 5K RUN/WALK Starts.
• 9:00 AM: 1 MILE FUN RUN Starts.
• 9:30 AM: FREE BLOCK RUN for kids.

💦 Additional Details

• Water: We encourage participants to bring their own water.
• Free Block Run: Also join us for a FREE BLOCK RUN with the Grinch and Max for kids 10 and under! No sign up needed! Meet at 9:30 AM.
• Parking: Please park around 213 Main St. in Sainte Marie, Illinois.
• Race Start: The race will start around the St. Mary’s Parish St and the Legion.

Whoville will feature exciting activities scheduled from 10 AM to 5 PM, including:

• Ice Skating Rink
• Face Painting
• Hot Chocolate & Concessions
• Wagon Rides, Cotton Candy, Kids Crafts & Games

Join us for the Town Tree Lighting/Caroling at Dark and MORE! Enjoy great food at the Legion and Wine Tasting by Irene’s Vineyard.
