🇺🇸 Race Overview

The Pike County American Legion serves and honors all of America’s military Veterans, to include their families in and around the Pike County, Georgia community. This includes providing assistance to Veterans with physical, mental, emotional, and financial needs. Within its Veteran and Community programs, Post 197 provides information and education on Veteran’s affairs, Patriotism, and Americanism. The only way we can serve Veterans and the Community is through the community’s generous financial support. Participation in the event will help to assist Post 197 continue its Veteran and community programs.

Start and Finish: Located at the Fire Station in Concord, GA.
Parking: Available in designated areas near the event with a short walk to the start line.

5K Early Registration: $35.00 through 10/5/2024
5K Late Registration: $40.00 10/6/2024 through 10/18/2024
5K Race Day Registration: $40.00 Cash, Check, or Venmo
T-Shirt Only: $20 (must register before T-shirt deadline)

🏅 Awards and Participation

This event will be a 5k distance (3.1 miles). As we are wanting every dollar possible to go directly to the Pike County American Legion Post 197, this race will not be chip-timed. We will have a gun start and a timing crew recording all finishers’ times and recording race results. We will have overall and age group awards ceremony and winners will receive a medal.

Overall Winner Awards: 1st and 2nd place for male and female runners.
Age Group Awards: Categories include Veterans, and age groups 14 and under, 15-20, 21-35, 36-50, 51-64, and 65+.
All Registrants: Will receive a race T-shirt, race bib, course support, and post-race refreshments.
Course Description: The course will be on paved roads, well marked with signs at all turns.

🎉 Post-Race Festivities

After the race ends and the awards ceremony is complete, runners and walkers can stay and enjoy the fun festivities, vendors, and food of the 51st Annual Concord Jubilee!!
