Rotary Peachtree City Half Marathon & 5K

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

Join us for the third annual Rotary Club of Peachtree City Half Marathon & 5k, on January 17, 2026. The tree lined golf cart paths of our planned community are an ideal setting for runners of all levels and abilities. Greenspace, lakes, and wildlife mark this family friendly, fitness oasis, just a short drive south of Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

📏 Course Certification

• Certified Courses: 5k and Half Marathon courses are USATF certified.
• Qualifier: The 5k is a qualifying event for the 2025 AJC Peachtree Road Race.

🤝 Charity Involvement

Your participation will help the Rotary Club of Peachtree City continue making a positive impact and contributing locally and globally to improve lives, eradicate disease, provide essential resources, and increase access to education. We accomplish this through grants to local nonprofits and internationally through the Rotary Foundation.

🏅 Half Marathon Details

• Start Time: 8:00am
• Time Limit: 4 hours, cut-off 12:00pm
• Course: Approximately 1.2 miles on paved road and 11.9 miles on rolling, paved golf cart paths.
• Minimum Age: 14 years of age on race day

5️⃣ 5K Details

• Start Time: 8:15am
• Time Limit: 1 hour, cut-off 9:15am
• Course: 0.9 miles of paved street, 2.2 miles of paved, rolling golf cart paths.
• Minimum Age: 6 years of age on race day.

⏱️ Race Timing

In partnership with Wire2wire Running, Half Marathon and 5K runners will be timed from start to finish via a disposable timing chip on their race bib provided in race packets.

📦 Packet Pick-Up

• Fleet Feet – Decatur: January 13 – 15, 2026.
• Packet Pick-Up Location: Frederick Brown Jr Amphitheater.
• Date: January 16, 2026 from 4:00-8:00pm or January 17, 2026 from 6:30-7:45am.

👕 Race Shirts

Half marathon and 5k participants receive a shirt based on size indicated in their online registration. Sizes not guaranteed after Thanksgiving, Nov. 27, 2025: size exchanges on race day not guaranteed.

🚑 Racecourse Support

• Bag Check: Runners can check bags pre-race for post-race layers.
• Restrooms: Port-o-lets available at Expo/finish area before/after race, and selectively on race course.
• Water Stations: Water & Gatorade provided at water stations on course.
• Medical: EMTs on bikes will be patrolling the course and basic first aid is available at finish area.

🏅 Finisher Medals

All registered runners who complete the half marathon & 5k will receive a unique finisher’s medal immediately after finishing the race.

🏆 Awards

Award recipients will be announced during the awards ceremony adjacent to finish area. Awards must be claimed during the ceremony and will not be mailed to recipients.

🅿️ Parking on Race Day

Parking at the Frederick Brown Jr Amphitheater until full, no exit until 8:35am. Additional parking available at local schools and businesses with shuttle service provided.

🚫 Dogs & Strollers

For the safety of runners, dogs and strollers are not permitted with runners on the route.

🌧️ Cancellation / Weather / Refunds

This event will be held rain or shine, warm or cold weather unless event organizers determine in conjunction with local authorities that conditions necessitate cancellation. If cancellation is necessary, no credits or refunds will be provided. Thank you for contributing to the charitable work of Rotary!
