Rotary Peachtree City Half Marathon & 5K

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

Join us for the second annual Rotary Club of Peachtree City Half Marathon &: 5k, presented by BMW of South Atlanta on January 18, 2025. The tree-lined golf cart paths of our planned community are an ideal setting for runners of all levels and abilities. Greenspace, lakes, and wildlife mark this family-friendly, fitness oasis, just a short drive south of Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

• Location: Frederick Brown Jr Amphitheater, Peachtree City, GA.
• Courses: 5k and Half Marathon courses are USATF certified.
• AJC Qualifier: 5k is a qualifying event for the 2025 AJC Peachtree Road Race.
• Charitable Purpose: Your participation helps improve lives, eradicate disease, and increase access to education through the Rotary Club of Peachtree City.

📅 Race Details

• Date: January 18, 2025
• Start Time (Half Marathon): 8:00 am
• Start Time (5K): 8:15 am
• Minimum Age: 14 years for Half Marathon, 6 years for 5K.

📝 Registration Information

• Online Registration: Closes on January 16 at 11:59 pm.
• In-person Registration: Available on January 17-18.
• Packet Pick-Up: Must pick up packets on race day if registered late.
• No Refunds: No cancellations or refunds after January 12, 2025.

👚 Race Shirts

Participants receive a shirt based on the size indicated during registration. Sizes not guaranteed after December 30th, and exchanges on race day are not guaranteed.

🚑 Race Support

• Medical: EMT’s will patrol the course and first aid is available at the finish area.
• Restrooms: Port-o-lets available at Expo/finish area and selectively on the race course.
• Water Stations: Water &: Gatorade provided at stations on course.
• Bag Check: Runners can check bags pre-race for post-race layers.

🏅 Finisher Medals

All registered runners who complete the half marathon and 5k will receive a unique finisher’s medal immediately after finishing the race.

🏆 Awards

• Overall Awards: Top 3 Male and Female finishers in Open and Masters categories.
• Age Group Medals: Top 3 Male and Female finishers in various age groups.
• 5K Awards: Store credit for overall top male and female finishers.
• Claiming Awards: Must be done during the ceremony, not mailed.

🚗 Parking Information

• Frederick Brown Jr Amphitheater: 201 McIntosh Trail, Peachtree City, GA.
• Huddleston Elementary School: One-way road access only, closes by 7:30 am.
• Shuttle Services: Available from designated locations to the race start.
• No Exit: No exit from parking areas until 8:35 am.

🐾 Participant Guidelines

For the safety of runners, dogs and strollers are not permitted with runners on the route.

☔ Cancelation / Weather Policy

The event will be held rain or shine unless determined by local authorities to cancel. No credits or refunds will be provided for any cancellation.

🌍 Virtual Races

Run your race distance 5K (3.1 miles) or Half (13.1 miles) at your convenience. Medals and shirts will be mailed to participants by February 1.
