Rotary Peachtree City Half Marathon & 5K

🏃‍♀️ Event Overview

Join us for the second annual Rotary Club of Peachtree City Half Marathon & 5k, presented by BMW of South Atlanta, on January 18, 2025. The tree lined golf cart paths of our planned community are an ideal setting for runners of all levels and abilities. Greenspace, lakes, and wildlife mark this family friendly, fitness oasis, just a short drive south of Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

📍 Event Details

• Race Date: January 18, 2025
• Location: 201 McIntosh Trail, Peachtree City, GA 30269
• Heated Tent Space: Available for pre & post race hangout at Expo area.
• Race Lodging: Discounts on hotels & amenities available.

🏅 Race Courses

• USATF Certified: Both 5k and Half Marathon courses are certified.
• 5k Qualifier: The 5k is a qualifying event for the 2025 AJC Peachtree Road Race.
• Minimum Age: 14 years for Half Marathon and 6 years for 5k on race day.
• Pace Groups: To be announced for Half Marathon.

🏥 Race Support

• Heated Tent: Available for pre/post race.
• Restrooms: Port-o-lets at Expo/finish area.
• Water Stations: Water & Gatorade provided on course.
• Medical Support: EMTs will patrol the course.

🎖️ Finisher Medals & Awards

All registered runners who complete the half marathon & 5k will receive a unique finisher’s medal immediately after finishing the race.

🚗 Parking Information

• Frederick Brown Jr Amphitheater: One-way road access from Peachtree Parkway only, closes by 7:40am.
• Huddleston Elementary School: Same access rules as Amphitheater.
• Hella Automotive Sales: Shuttle to race start provided.
• Parking Restrictions: No access from Hwy74: closed after 7:40am.

🌧️ Weather Policy

This event will be held rain or shine. If cancellation is necessary due to weather, no credits or refunds will be provided, and registered participants will be transferred to the virtual editions of their distance.

🌐 Virtual Race Options

• Distance: Run 5k (3.1 miles) or Half (13.1 miles) at your convenience between January 1st and February 1st of 2025.
• Results Submission: Upload your run time from January 1st to February 1st.
• Shirts & Medals: Mailed to virtual participants by February 1st.
• Award Eligibility: Virtual runners are not eligible for overall, masters, or age group awards.
