OCBA Law Day 5K - 11th Annual

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

• Invitation: We’d like to invite you, your family, your friends, your firm, and your organization to join us for our annual community event, Orange County Bar Association, Inc.'s (OCBA) Law Day 5K run/walk.
• Date: On March 01, 2025, the Orange County Bar Association (OCBA) will host the 11th Annual OCBA Law Day 5K Run & Walk.
• Location: The scenic race course runs around beautiful Lake Baldwin Park.
• Purpose: All proceeds raised benefit the Legal Aid Society of the Orange County Bar Association, Inc. and the Orange County Bar Association Foundation, Inc.

🎯 Goals and Support

• Legal Aid Society: The primary purpose of the Legal Aid Society is to provide quality legal services for low-income residents in Orange County, Florida.
• Community Focus: The OCBA Foundation focuses on community education, mentoring, and supporting local schools.
• Understanding Law Day: What is Law Day? It's the American Bar Association's event held to celebrate the role of law in our society.

🗓️ Schedule of Events

• 7:00am: Packet Pickup
• 8:00am: 5k Race Start
• 9:00am: Kids Run

🎁 Race Amenities

• Chip Timing: Accurately timed results for all participants.
• Awards: Recognition for top finishers and age group winners.
• Shirts: Custom shirts for participants.
• Refreshments: Food and refreshments will be provided.

👕 Shirts and Medals

• Registration: Participants should register prior to February 1st to ensure the correct shirt size.
• Finisher Medals: All participants will receive a finisher medal with first 500 finishers guaranteed a special commemorative medal.
• Awards: Awards for top overall male and female finishers.

💵 Race Registration Fees

• $25: To December 10th
• $30: December 11th - January 10th
• $35: January 11th - February 7th
• $40: After February 7th (March 1st - Race Day)

☔ Important Notice

• Non-Refundable: All entry fees are non-refundable and race registrations are non-transferable.
• Weather: This is a rain or shine event: no refunds for inclement weather.
• Race Day Registration: $40.00 per registration (cash, checks made payable to "OCBA", and credit card payments accepted).

👶 Free Kids Run

• Time: The free Kids Run will take place around 9:00 – 9:15 a.m. for children ages 2-13.
• Registration: Kids can register for free, and will have access to inflatables with an adult registration.
• Commemorative Items: To receive the commemorative shirt, finisher medal, or award, registration for the Law Day 5K is required.

📍 Packet Pickup

• When: Wednesday 10:00am - 4:00pm
• Also: Thursday 10:00am - 4:00pm

📌 Venue Information

• Location: Orange County Bar Association, 880 North Orange Avenue, Orlando, Florida 32801.
• Registration Note: Registrations received after Feb 20th will need to be picked up on race day at the site starting at 7 a.m.
