Lace Up for Laura 2025

🏃‍♀️ Event Overview

The Lace Up for Laura 5k walk/run is a way to come together the last Saturday in June each year in remembrance of Laura Cody McNaughton. It is intended to be a fun activity families can participate in together with runners and walkers of all ability.

📅 Event Details

• Date: June 28, 2025
• Location: Intersection of Plains Road and Reservoir Road, Perkinsville, VT
• Kids Fun Run: Approximately 1/3 mile for kids 12 and under starting at 8:30 A.M.
• Main Race: 3.1 mile (5km) race or walk starting at 9:00 A.M. for all ages and abilities.

🌳 Race Information

• Distance: 3.1 miles (5km), an out and back race on a scenic dirt road.
• Elevation: The course is known for its lack of change in elevation.
• Perks: Water station and live music will be provided.
• Instructions: Participants of all ages and abilities are welcome to join.

🎓 Beneficiary

• Proceeds: Will benefit the Laura Cody McNaughton Memorial fund.
• Scholarship: An annual scholarship awarded to a graduating senior.
• Qualities: Awarded to students who exemplify Laura’s leadership and giving spirit.
• Focus: Recipients must be pursuing further education and training.
