• 5k Start: 8:00 a.m. at Coastal Studies Institute (CSI).
• Fun Run Start: 9:00 a.m. at the Virginia S. Tillett Community Center (VTCC).
• Check-in: Details to be announced closer to the race.
• Packet Pickup: At the VTCC post-race for the 5k.

• Finish Line: Virginia S. Tillett Community Center, 950 Marshall C. Collins Drive, Manteo, NC 27954.
• Fun Run: Starts and finishes at VTCC.

🚌 Transportation

• Pre-race Shuttle: Provided for runners parking at the finish line.
• No Return Trips: From VTCC to CSI.

💲 Entry Fee

• Early Registration: $40.00 by September 16, 2024.
• Regular Registration: $45.00 from September 17 – October 26, 2024.
• Race Day Registration: $50.00.
• Virtual Option: $15.00 without shirt, $40.00 with shirt.

🏅 Awards and Medals

• Top Finishers: Awards for the top three male and female finishers of the 5k.
• Costume Contest: Winners will also receive awards.
• Medals: Provided for all participants.
• Fun Run: Participants guaranteed a race medal and spooky swag.

🌐 Virtual Participants

• Virtual Completion: Complete your run/walk anytime from registration until race day.
• Submission: Submit official race time on runsignup.com.
• Proof of Completion: Required for Dare County Employees for Wellness Points.
• Medals: Sent within 2 weeks for all virtual participants.

🎊 Non-Race Participants

• Pre-race Festivities: Open to all runners and spectators at CSI.
• Fun Run Festivities: Held prior to the Fun Run at VTCC.

🚗 Parking and Traffic

• Parking Recommendation: Park at the finish line and shuttle to the start.
• Drop-off: Allowed at the start line but may miss the finish.
• CSI Parking: Closed during the event, no exceptions.
• Arrival Time: Give yourself enough time to avoid delays.

📦 Packet Pick Up

• Date: Friday, October 25, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at VTCC.
• Registration Post-September 16: Shirts and swag first come, first served.
• Proxy Pickup: Email permission required for alternate pickups.
• After Friday Pickup: Check-in at the registration table at the 5k start.

• Online Registration Ends: 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, October 24, 2024.
• Paper Registration: Available for $50.00 through race day.
• Timing: 5k Registration ends at 7:45 a.m.: Fun Run from 8:15-8:45 a.m.
