🏃‍♀️ Welcome to the Carson Park 5 & 10

Join us for fitness and Halloween fun in the 56th annual Carson Park 5 & 10, western Wisconsin's longest-running run/walk event!

🌲 Course Details

Enjoy a challenging, scenic course in and around Carson Park! With the 10-mile course featuring the new stretch of trail between Rod and Gun Park and Carson Park.

🎉 Post-Race Activities

Fun: Stick around for post-race fun including a Halloween costume contest with prizes, free museum tours, and free train rides for kids in costume (all other riders just $3).
Treats: Post-race treats include one free beer (must be 21 or older) or soda to all finishers.

🏆 Prizes

Medals: Medals to all kid’s run finishers.
Top Finishers: Medals to top three 5K and 10-mile age-group finishers.
Gift Cards: $50 Scheels gift card to first-place overall mens and womens 5K and 10-mile finishers.
Special Prize: $200 “Dash for the Cash” prize (courtesy of Dave Carothers) for the overall 10-mile winner.

⏳ Take the Carson Challenge!

Run your first or fastest 5K or within 2 minutes of your predicted 10-mile time (faster or slower) and receive your choice of a Carson ball cap or pair of ITC socks.

📅 Event Schedule for Sat. Oct. 26th

8:30 a.m: 5K & 10-mile run/walk.
9 a.m.-Noon: Free tours of the Chippewa Valley Museum for all event participants.
10:30 a.m: Awards, Halloween Costume Contest.
11 a.m: Kid's 1/4 mile & 1-mile BOO-GIE Run.
11 a.m. to 4 p.m: Train rides--kids in costume one FREE ride: all other riders $3.

🏃‍♂️ Race Shirt and Number Pickup

Friday & Saturday Race shirt and # pickup will be available at the Wisconsin Logging Museum (Paul Bunyan Logging Camp) 4 to 7 pm Friday, Oct. 25th and 6:30 to 8 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 26th.

Event proceeds benefit the Chippewa Valley Museum and the ITC Running/Walking Club, two non-profit organizations with a long history of promoting community education, fitness, and service.
