Event Overview
The Parks & Recreation Departments of Hebron, Colchester, and East Hampton are collaborating along with the State of CT Department of Energy and Environmental Protection to host our 21st Annual Ghost Run!
Course Details
- Distance: The 13.1 mile certified half marathon course.
- Trail: Follows the historic Air Line Trail for roughly 11 miles, through pristine and picturesque rural Connecticut Forests and small towns.
- Surface: Mostly flat with packed stone, gravel, and earthen material.
- Start Location: Hebron Elementary School located on Route 85.
Registration Information
- Deadline: Registration deadline is October 31st by 1:30pm.
- Pre-registration: Required, no day of registration is available.
- Fees: $50 Individual Runner / $100 Relay Team.
- Shirt: Runners registered before October 1st will receive a race T-Shirt.
Bib Pickup
Early Bib pickup is scheduled for Friday, October 31st, from 8am-2pm at the Burnt Hill Park Office Building (148 East Street, Hebron, CT, 06248).
Event Policies
- Runners Only: This event is for runners only, we are unable to accommodate walkers.
- Walking: We do understand that runners may need to walk periodically.
- Pets: This event does not allow dogs.
Relay Legs
- Leg #1: Start to Grayville Road - Hebron (3.6 mi.)
- Leg #2: Grayville Road to River Road Overpass - Colchester (4.2 mi.)
- Leg #3: River Road Overpass to Finish Line - Center School, East Hampton (5.3 mi.)
- Shuttle: Relay runners will receive shuttle bus service to designated locations.
Shuttle Bus Schedule
- Bus 1: Depart Center School in East Hampton at approx. 7:45AM, transport runners to Hebron Elementary School: return throughout the race.
- Bus 2: Depart Center School in East Hampton at approx. 8:10AM, transport runners to Hebron Elementary School, returning runners as needed.
- Bus 3: Depart Center School at approximately 8:25AM, transport runners to Hebron Elementary School with rotating service as needed.
- Bus 4: Shuttle from Hebron Elementary School to Grayville Road relay location, leaving just after the race starts.
