🏃‍♀️ Event Overview

Purpose: We run, walk, and celebrate in honor of the memory of Tricia Davis who was committed to combating housing insecurity and turned this commitment towards the establishment and longevity of Sinai House.
Benefit: Proceeds from the event will directly benefit Sinai House, a residential social service program in Washington, DC, in its mission to enable families to move from homelessness to independence.
Date: The event will be held on Mother's Day.
Location: Rock Creek Park in Washington, DC, starting at Picnic Area #24 near the entrance to the Tennis Center.

5K Start: Warm-up at 7:45 am, race starts at 8 am.
Fun Run Start: Rainbow of Bubbles Fun Run warm-up at 8:45 am, race starts at 9 am.
Non-Timed: The Fun Run is NOT timed.
Registration: If you register for the 5K, you can also participate in the Rainbow Fun Run without having to register again.

Join a Team: After you register, you can join a Social Race Team or create your own.
Encourage Friends: Invite friends to register for the race and join your team.

Discounted Rates: Register children aged 12 and under at a discounted rate during the registration process.
Fun Run Option: For a shorter distance without hills, register for the Rainbow of Bubbles Fun Run.
Stroller & Dog Policy: Strollers and dogs are welcome for both events: please stay toward the back of the pack.
Leash Requirement: For safety, dog leashes must be shorter than 3 feet: no extendable or flexible leashes allowed.

Fundraising Goal: Help us reach our ambitious goal of $175,000.

Free Parking: Ample parking is available at the Carter Barron Parking lot located at 4850 Colorado Ave NW, Washington, DC 20011.
Access: Please use Colorado Avenue from 16th Street to park near Picnic Area #24 next to the Carter Barron Parking lot.

May 10th: 3:00 - 4:30 pm in the Temple Sinai Parking Lot at 3100 Military Rd NW, Washington, DC.
Race Day: 7:00 - 7:30 am in the Carter Barron parking lot near Picnic Site #24.

7:00-7:30 am: Race Bib and T-shirt pick-up, bag drop. There is NO registration on race day.
7:45 am: Warm-ups.
8:00 am: 5K begins (Participants with strollers or dogs, please stay toward the back).
8:45 am: Warm-ups for the Rainbow of Bubbles Fun Run.
9:00 am: Rainbow Fun Run begins (This event is NOT timed).
9:30 am: All participants must be off the race route.
Awards: Award ceremony begins.
10:00 am: Clean-up begins.
