Established in 1985, the Army Ten-Miler (ATM) is an annual event held every October in Washington, D.C. The primary objectives of the race are to promote the Army, foster esprit de corps, support Army fitness goals, and strengthen community relations.
ATM's mission is to contribute to Army outreach, boost morale, and advocate for physical fitness. The race is supported by over 900 Soldiers and 900 volunteers, reflecting its status as a "world-class" event.
As a category-B Army Family and Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) event open to the public, ATM has played a pivotal role in generating support for MWR programs.
Race alongside U.S. service members, military veterans, and their families through iconic vistas of Washington, D.C.’s historic landmarks.
