A holiday tradition since 2003, the Valparaiso Turkey Trot brings together families and friends to kick off Thanksgiving Day with a 5K Walk/Run in Valparaiso, Indiana. Hosted by the Porter-Starke Services Foundation, event proceeds benefit healthcare programs in Northwest Indiana.

- 6:30 am ROAD CLOSURE: Campbell Street from Vale Park Road intersection to Valparaiso High School SOUTH Entrance - 6:30 am to 10:00 am
- 7:45 am ROAD CLOSURES: Various roads closed until specified times

Parking available at Valparaiso High School and nearby locations within walking distance. No shuttle buses this year, plan ahead.
🏅 Awards & Medals
All participants receive a custom 2023 Valparaiso Turkey Trot Finisher Medal. Awards for Overall Male/Female and Overall Masters Male/Female, with age group categories.

- Are Strollers Allowed?: Yes, at the back of the corral.
- Are Dogs Allowed?: No, for safety.
- Can someone else pick up my packet?: Yes, provide them with your confirmation email containing a QR code.
