🐾 Coon Dog Day 5K Race Overview

Please note: the race has grown more than expected. We are running out of shirts and we appreciate the support, along with your patience and understanding.

📅 Packet Pickup

• Date: Friday, July 11
• Location: (Location to be announced)

🏃‍♂️ Saturday Morning Details

• Start/Finish Line: Located beside the stage in the park (across the track from Main Street in the center of town).
• Registration: All registration will be online through the runsignup page.
• Note: No paper forms for late/walkup registration, so bring a phone.

🚗 Parking Information

• 5K Parking: Available only until 9:30am at the First Baptist Church Saluda and Saluda United Methodist Church for the race only.
• Post-Race: Please move your car out of these lots by 9:30am to allow for festival activities.
• Alternative Parking: Available at the Saluda Elementary School back (bus) Parking Lot on Seminary Street.
• Walking Distance: Short walk to the start line on Main Street, with no rush to leave the school lot.

🎉 Event Highlights

Coon Dog Day 2025 will be held in Saluda, NC on July 12th and the 5K will be better than ever!

• Host: The Coon Dog Day 5K is hosted by and is a fundraiser for Saluda Elementary School.
• Start Time: The run begins in McCreery Park beside Main Street at 8am.
• Route: Follows the traditional Coon Dog Day 5k route.
• Chip Timing: Adding chip timing for all participants to track their time.

👶 Kids' Fun Run

We are adding a kids' 1 mile fun run with clock timing for the runners.

• Shirts: We are pre-ordering more shirts! Supplies are limited to availability based on sign-up order.
• Festival: Plan to stay for the daylong festival of crafts, food, music and quirky small town fun.
