20th Annual Historic Riverfront 5K Run/Walk

The 20th Historic Riverfront 5K Run/Walk is co-organized by St. Anthony West Neighborhood Organization (STAWNO) and Sheridan Neighborhood Organization (SNO) in N.E. Minneapolis. The event provides lasting collaboration for the benefit of communities.

The race traces a historical loop along the Mississippi River, featuring a new route due to construction. Participants enjoy a scenic path through Nicollet Island, Stone Arch Bridge neighborhood, 3rd Avenue Bridge, and Boom Island.

Open to all, the event offers a timed 5K run with prizes for all age groups by Mill City Running, scenic walk, Kramarczuk's brats, swag for all, and coffee.

Proceeds support STAWNO & SNO civic programs. Save the date: September 28, 2024, 9 am!

📅 Event Details and Schedule

Experience the beauty of historic Minneapolis along the Mississippi River during the 5K Run/Walk. Enjoy stunning views of Downtown Minneapolis and St. Anthony Falls, starting and ending at Boom Island Park.

Runners and walkers of all kinds, including dogs and strollers, can appreciate the tree canopy, river, and cityscape on this historic route. Participants are treated to Kramarczuk's brats, prizes from Mill City Running, and 5K branded swag.

• Race Start time at 9 am, Saturday, September 28 (check-in starts at 7:30am)

• Early check-in available on Friday, September 27, 4-6pm at Mill City Running (411 E Hennepin Ave, Minneapolis)

• Historic Riverfront 5k swag included in registration

• Prizes for top winners in various categories by Mill City Running
