Huskers 5K - East Prairie, Mo.

🏃‍♂️ RACE DETAILS

• Date: The 5K Race will be held on Friday, June 27, 2025, at 6:30 PM -- coinciding with the East Prairie Main Street Party and Sweet Corn Festival.
• Weather: The run will be held rain or shine -- no refunds.
• Eligibility: Runners of all ages are welcome -- but please ensure you are properly trained and physically able to participate at the level of physical and/or aerobic activity required for this race.

📍 REGISTRATION LOCATION, RACE START/STOP & PARKING

• Start/Stop: The race starts and ends at the East Prairie Chamber of Commerce/Body Fx gym at 106 S. Washington.
• Registration: Registration tables will be set up outside in front of the gym.
• Parking: Free parking is available along the streets near the race start, but please note the race is held in conjunction with the East Prairie Main Street Party, so please allow time should parking be harder to find.

📝 PRE-REGISTRATION

• Deadline: Online pre-registration will be open until June 9 (to allow time to order t-shirts and prepare bags).

🆕 ON-SITE REGISTRATION

• Availability: We will offer on-site registration until run time on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Payment: We hope to have credit card services available, but please bring cash or a check as a backup.

💵 PRICING & WHAT'S INCLUDED

• Early Bird: $20 all ages (through April 30)
• Regular: $25 all ages (May 1 - June 9)
• Onsite: $30 all ages (t-shirts included as long as they last)
• Benefits: Registration includes a guaranteed finisher's medal and t-shirt for the first 50 registrants. Online registration will be available before June 9.

• Pre-Purchase: We’re also offering non-runners the chance to pre-purchase our short-sleeve t-shirts. (NOTE: we may have a few on-site for purchase, but we cannot guarantee sizes)
• Pricing: Youth Small - Large: $15, Adult Small - XLarge: $15, Adult 2XLarge: $16, Adult 3XLarge: $17

📦 PACKET PICKUP

• Time: 5:30 PM - 6:25 PM - Packet Pickup and Registration for 5K
• Start: 6:30 PM - 5K Start
• Winners: 7:30 PM - Winners announced and race support wraps up

🏆 AWARDS

• Ceremony: Awards ceremony following the race.
• Categories: Awards will be given to the top Male and Female finishers overall.
• Brackets: Awards for the top finishers in each bracket: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.

⚠️ RUNNER SAFETY & ROUTE CONDITIONS

• Rules: Runners must obey all traffic rules.
• Route: The Huskers 5K is a flat route along well-marked city streets, sidewalks, and rural highways.
• Restrictions: No pets, rollerblades, bikes, or headsets, please.
• Support: We will have a few officials riding the route on ATVs to assist runners if needed.

💧 WATER STATIONS & RESTROOMS

• Stations: Several water stations will be provided along the route.
• Facilities: There will be portable restrooms/running water at the Registration Start/Stop at BodyFx gym at 106 S. Washington.
