Howl'oween Trick or Trot 5k & 1 Mile Fun Run

🎃 Overview

The Kiwanis Club of Lima is pleased to sponsor its sixth annual Howl'oween Trick or Trot 5K, Fun Run Walk & Virtual Pet Contest which will take place on October 27, 2024 (A virtual option is available for the races.)

Proceeds will help fund Kiwanis Service Leadership Programs to benefit the children and residents of Allen County:

• Mission: The Kiwanis Club of Lima works with local school systems to help cultivate young leaders through service with their service leadership clubs.
• Recognition: These clubs are recognized for their work throughout the USA and continue to grow each year.

🐾 Pet Contest

The Virtual Pet Contest will benefit local animal welfare agencies:

• Participants: The Humane Society of Allen County, Deb's Dogs, and A Lotta Love Pet Rescue.

🕓 Race Details

• Start Time: Staggered Start - Fun Run at 4:00 P.M., 5K at 4:20 P.M.
• Start Location: West side of Faurot Park on Rosedale Drive - Lima, OH.
• Race Items Pick-up: October 25 from 5pm-6:30pm at Allen County Children’s Services, and Race Day from 2:00-3:30pm.

💰 Entry Fees

• 5K Fees: Early Registration on or before July 18, 2024--$27, After July 18 through October 1st--$30, After October 1st through October 26th--$35, $40.00 on Race Day.
• Fun Run Fees: Early Registration on or before September 1, 2024--$25, After September 1, 2024--$30.

👕 Race Shirt

Receive a commemorative shirt. Register early and get yours! Registrations received after October 1, 2024 will not have the race shirt included. Limited quantities may be available for purchase on race day.

🐶 Pet Contest Fees

• First Pet: $10 for first pet.
• Additional Pets: $5 for each additional pet & $10 for commemorative shirt.
• Deadline: Pet Contest deadline is October 25, 2024.

🥇 Awards

Awards presented to the top three finishers overall and top three in each male and female age group for the 5K: 10 & under, 11-14, and 15-19.
