How about welcoming the New Year with a new commitment to fitness? How about a commemorative way to say goodbye to 2024? Our 5K is for the competitive runner and joyful walker and is a great way to start off the year. Join us IN PERSON OR VIRTUALLY on New Year’s Day, 2025!

- Details: Custom designed long sleeve “Resolution Run Hoody Sweatshirt” for participants.
🏅 Race Certification
The event and the course is USA Track & Field-NJ Sanctioned and Certified. (Certification # NJ22048JLW).
- Points: USATF-NJ members can earn points in the 2025 Grand Prix competition.
- Timing: Accurate, fast chip timing.
- Results: Finish times and placements available shortly after crossing the Finish Line.
- Event Points: 500 Point Event.
💰 Registration Details
Early Bird Registration is available through midnight, October 15, 2024. The fee is $32 (Virtual is $42). After that, the registration fee will go to $37 (Virtual is $47).
- Discount: A $3 discount applies for participants 18 and under or USATF-NJ members.
- Awards: Ribbons, awards, and refreshments at the Finish Line.
- Collector’s Item: Everybody receives a Finisher’s Ribbon.
- Awards Breakdown: 92 awards total – includes overall and age group winners.
🌍 Virtual Option
For those who are more comfortable with the virtual option or liked doing your 5K on your own schedule, we are keeping this option in the mix in 2025.
- Inclusions: Special edition, long sleeve hooded sweatshirt, bib, and finisher's ribbon.
- Shipping: Direct shipping of race packet to your home included.
🎓 Race Proceeds
Race proceeds will benefit Project Graduation for Hillsborough High School Class of 2025 and Hillsborough’s Rock Steady Boxing.
- Project Graduation: Provides a drug and alcohol free celebration for graduates.
- Rock Steady Boxing: A program aimed at improving the quality of life for those diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease.
- Community Support: Fund educational programs and a scholarship program for participants with financial limitations.
- Food Bank Initiative: Option to add on a $5 donation to replenish the Hillsborough Food Bank.
