Join us for our 14th Annual 5K Run/Walk May 2, 2025
📍 Course Details
- Location: 5K night race will go through Historic Downtown Wauchula.
- Finish Line: Awards ceremony will be held at Heritage Park on Main Street.
- Kids Events: 1 Mile Fun Run & Kids ½ Dash will loop around Downtown Wauchula and finish on Main Street.
🗓️ Race Week Schedule
- Check-in: 5:30pm - 6:45pm at the Hardee County Courthouse (417 West Main Street, Wauchula, FL 33873)
- Kids ½ Dash: 6:00pm
- 1 Mile Fun Run: 6:15pm (for all ages)
- 5K Start Time: 7:00pm, with awards at approximately 8:30pm at Heritage Park Pavilion.
💰 Entry Fees
- Adult Early Bird: $20 (thru Dec 31st & T-Shirt Guaranteed)
- Adult Pre-Registration: $25 (thru April 19th & T-Shirt Guaranteed)
- Adult Last Minute: $30 (April 20th thru May 1st & T-Shirt not Guaranteed)
- Race Day: $35 (T-Shirt not Guaranteed)

- Team Registration: Team Captain’s must register their team first.

📦 Packet Pick Up
- Pick Up: Wednesday, April 30th from 10am - 6pm at 215 W Orange Street, Wauchula.
- Mailing: Packets can be mailed for an additional $6.
🌐 Virtual Race
Participants in the virtual race can run or walk anywhere... in their neighborhoods, at home on a treadmill, in a park, or even on church grounds. There will not be a set route: you can run wherever you’d like and submit your times online between April 26-May 2.
⚠️ Special Instructions
While headphones & baby strollers are permissible, pet animals are not allowed on the race route.
🏆 Awards
5K - Overall male & female, masters, grand masters, senior grand masters, veteran grand masters, 1st, 2nd, & 3rd - 8 & under, 9-12, 13-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & above. Kids ½ Dash, 1 Mile Fun Run, & Virtual Race - Everyone will receive a key chain medal.
